My first baby shoot!!!

#1 thing they don't mention in online tutorials when shooting newborns... babies LOVE to pee when their diapers AREN'T on. ha ha, it made for a good laugh! :)

I've learned and know better for next time, and those little nakey photos will come later. But here's your sneak peak and little Emma and her lovely proud parents, Shawna and Morgan.

Adrienne {the patient one}

Yes, I'm {finally}getting the product of Adrienne's shoot up. It seems to be turning into a pattern....

Adrienne was my first shoot {semi-professionally}. She wasn't quite sure what she was looking for, so she was my guinea pig for everything.... shots, location, all of it. It rained... and rained and rained... but she fit this location better than I could have ever expected!

Anyway, these are a few of my favorites. Such a beautiful model I had!

Nicole {FINALLY!!}

It's been a whirlwind month and I've finally started to get caught up! This is Nicole's photo shoot. It was a windy day but we certainly made the most of it, and even caught a pretty gorgeous sunset! As of today, she is on her way to med school in the tropics!

My second photo shoot was yesterday, and I have to say I couldn't have been blessed with better models for these first two shoots. This is Nicole, a friend and co-worker of mine, who is jetting off to Dominica in less than a month for medical school! So as a last hoorah, she has added getting photos done to her list of things to do before she leaves US soil. Yet again, she's a natural in front of the camera, and the whole shoot turned out beautifully. So here is your sneek peek at her shoot, more to come later this week!

What's in a Name?

I'll tell you... it has been a long and mentally grueling week already and it's only Wednesday. It could be, that I haven't had as much sleep as I probably should be getting. But I'd like to attribute it to the fact that I've been scratching and digging in every nook and cranny of my brain to come up with a name for my photography business. One that's Christian oriented, multi-faceted, and isn't already taken in 5 states....

Yeah, I know. That's pretty difficult (thus me not choosing a name yet). But I have faith that something will come to me. You know, like, BAM! It'll hit me, and I'll feel dumb for about 5 minutes wondering why I hadn't already thought of it... and then be really happy. Till then, it's time to rest my brain....

So, the first photo shoot I had couldn't have gone more fabulous! Adrienne is a doll, and she has such a natural beauty that I feel like my camera did none of the work! This is a sneak peek of the shoot we had, in the pouring rain... She's dazzling, no?
